Mass Shooting in Dayton, Ohio, help for families

Wake Up!

All this shooting stuff is just horrible. When are we going to get serious about stricter gun control laws?
This is unacceptable, something has to change. My heart goes out to the families in Texas, Ohio, and all over the world.
We supposed to have a love for each other, not killing each other.

Cherish each day with your family

We don’t know from one day to the next, if we may not come home to our families.
Hug and kiss that family member every day, appreciate each other, respect each other.
You can’t even go shopping minding your own business nowadays, without watching your back.
What is going on? Shooting innocent people, for attention, or because someone made you mad.
Life is tough, and if you can’t handle it, you go get help; not go on a shooting spree. Find someone that you can talk to.

Where to get help if you are depressed or feeling suicidal?

You are worthy of love and deserve a listening ear. No matter
what your experiencing there is help available. Here is a list of free help.

  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline  1-800-273-8255
  • Your local counseling center
  • Your local church

Getting children involved with an active shooter plan

Practice an active shooter plan at home with your children. Children have to practice an active shooter plan, it may save their life. Children can practice a run and escape plan. Talk to your children's school to get an idea for a home plan. Here is a list of things to put in your home plan.
  • Practice a Run and escape plan
  • Take an active shooting class
  • Children need to know about their surroundings
